Malia Amina-PanuiEach month, Urgent Care Hawaii will feature an employee who demonstrates a core value that exemplifies our mission.

Congratulations, Malia, on being our Featured Employee for June, 2017!

Malia’s desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives led her to join the professional healthcare team at Urgent Care Hawaii in Pearl City. Malia used to work in internal medicine but she was looking for a change of pace. Now, she enjoys the fast-paced, hands-on work at UCH. After all, she is used to managing the many details of life as a mother of five!

Along with appreciating the positive working environment and company training and benefits, Malia enjoys the open and honest teamwork of the staff. She notes, “I’ve always been a ‘people person’. When patients see us work well together as we create a positive, compassionate environment, they become calm and comfortable. They leave happy, and that is our reward!

Thank you, Malia, for your compassion and deep caring for your team and for our patients at UCH.

Mahalo,
Donna Schmidt, CEO
