Dr. Pantea Shoja MD, Family Medicine
Medical Director, Urgent Care Hawaii
Dr. Pantea Shoja, our chief medical director, has been practicing family medicine for the last decade. She graduated from St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix Arizona in 2011 where she served as the Chief Resident. In 2013, she moved to Hawaii and has been serving the islands through Primary care and Urgent Care Hawaii. Under her care, Urgent Care Hawaii offers telemedicine and virtual healthcare services, Urgent Care, and employer-paid Occupational Medicine.
Her main interests lie in innovation and pushing the boundaries of science and medicine. When she isn’t working Dr. Shoja loves backpacking, going on long drives, traveling the world, and making ceramics.

Leslie Hsiung, MD
Family Medicine & Emergency. Hawaii
Dr. Leslie Hsiung has been a practicing physician for the last 11 years. For the last 5.5 years she has been a family physician on Oahu. She is a graduate of the New York Medical College (Class of 2009) and served at the Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC. Dr. Hsiung decided to study medicine because she realized that this is the most fundamental level at which she could be of service to people. After work she likes to spend her time cooking, swimming and hiking with her dog.

Christine Jose, MD
Internal Medicine. Hawaii
Dr. Christine Jose has been practicing internal medicine for the last 27 years. Throughout this time she cared for patients in her own private practice in California, then at Straub PCP, Straub Urgent Care, Doctors-on-Call and Urgent Care Hawaii. Dr. Jose is also an Aviation Medical Examiner for FAA. For the last 6 years she has been serving the islands of Hawaii. She graduated from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay in Quezon City, Philippines in 1990. An adventurous spirit, Dr. Jose is always curious and will try everything at least once!

Chris Dubuque, DO
Family Physician, Emergency & Internal Medicine. Hawaii
Dr. Chris Dubuque is a primary care physician and hospitalist physician at Queens Medical Center Punchbowl. He graduated from from Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic medicine in 2016 in Yakima Washington State. Then completed his residency in Internal Medicine in Corvallis Oregon at Samaritan Level II Trauma Regional Medical Center in 2019. He has been practicing on Oahu since since August 2019. After work, Dr. Dubuque likes to spend his time participating in beach cleanups, ocean wildlife conservation projects, and going surfing, scuba diving, sailing, snowboarding, mountain biking, playing volleyball, playing the piano, and dancing.

Sara Davis, MD
Family medicine. Hawaii
Dr. Sara Davis has practiced as a family physician for 7 years. After graduating from Punahou School, she went on to attend Harvard University and Tel Aviv University (medical schools). Prior to her practice in Hawaii she worked at the Stony Brook University Hospital in New York. Dr. Davis’ background in anthropology inspired her to become interested in the intertwining of culture, politics and medicine. After work, she enjoys spending time with her three young children, going hiking, running, swimming, yoga and participating in all aspects of the visual arts including creating her own art.

Our telemedicine services are covered by most insurances. Urgent Care Hawaii works with all types of health insurance. Patients without insurance coverage must pay for Telemedicine services. Standard service fees are available as you book your appointment.

Yes, your medical assessment as noted by the doctor during your visit will be documented in Urgent Care Hawaii’s electronic medical record software. For security purposes, a password is required for you to access your file as it comes directly from our Electronic Medical Records system. If for some reason you are unable to access through email, please email telemedicine@ucarehi.com or call 808-263-2273.

Our doctors work as a team, and not all doctors provide all services available. When you select the reason for your visit, you will see whichever Doctors are providing that specific service.
